Since 2004, F.B.F. has been part of the Bauli Group, Italy’s largest producer of croissants and leavened celebration products.
It produces and distributes Croissants, Fagottini and Trecce, as well as the very recent wholemeal croissant specialities, Panini with chocolate chips and double-mix Fagottini. F.B.F. creates its Pandoro, Panettone and Colomba on the premises of the parent company.
In addition to the branded products of the top distributors on the Italian market, the Group has a 38% share of the croissant segment with the renowned Bauli brand and the Casalini brand in a leader-price range.
With the aim of becoming Italy’s top producer of sourdough puff pastry products, the Bauli Group took over F.B.F. SpA in June 2004 with its plant in Romanengo, combining the two production sites in the subsequent two years with lines devoted to Treccine and sugar-coated croissants.
2005 - 2008
Enlargement of the warehouse to over 7,000 m², highly automated.
Takeover of Brescia Brioche S.r.l. in Orzivecchi (Brescia).
Takeover of Emmerre Srl in Orzinuovi (Brescia), completing the production facilities with a line for sugar-coated croissants.
Over €15 million investments in all the production lines of the two plants in Romanengo and Orzivecchi, to raise the quality standards of the products.
2009 - 2012
Takeover of Motta and introduction of new production lines for celebration products and for everyday products such as croissants and Treccine.
Launch of a new croissant production line in San Martino Buon Albergo.
Production of Treccine transferred to the San Martino Buon Albergo plant.
2013 - 2018
A new production line for leavened products installed in the San Martino Buon Albergo plant.
Upgrade of the 12,000 production line in the Romanengo (Cremona) plant.
Our production lines produce a total of more than 1.7 million snacks a day.
